MOHALLEL (Nosratollah Karimi, 1971), 110 min.

Story: A man who has divorced his wife due to a misunderstanding regrets of his action and tries to have her back, but he needs a Mohallel to do this due to the kind of divorce he signed. Basically, he needs someone to marry his former wife and divorce her afterward only out of formality so he can legally remarry her. He finally finds what seems to be the right person, but the mohallel refuses to divorce the wife after the marriage. This leads to further complications...



                                                                  
GANJ-E QARUN [QARUN'S TREASURE] (Siamak Yasemi, 1965), 122 min.

Story: A young man happens to save the life of a Qarun, a rich guy, from committing suicide and keeps him in his place. Then the man realizes through his mother that Qarun is indeed his father who left him and his mother years ago to go about a promiscuous life style. Cognizant of this truth, the son pushes away his father. Qarun who does not have a heir and also regretting his past actions make repeated attempts to reach his son and finally he succeeds.






GEDAYE MILIONER [THE MILLINER BEGGER] (Mahmood Kushan, 1973), 102 min.

Story: Farhad, Ahmad and Qasem arrange from the childhood to meet each other again in 20 years. They grow up. Farhad is now a married man with a foreign wife and a son, Christian and Kami. They have left him and live separately. Farhad, who has a rich father, pursues a hedonist lifestyle. His father has threatened Farhad to exclude him from his will should he refuse to return to his wife and son, but they show no interest to live with Farhad. The second guy, Ahmad, has become a policeman. The third person, Qasem is a thief now. In a case of rubbery, Qasem rubs Christian's purse and runs away. The women gets shocked and, after hitting the motorcycle, falls unconscious. Her son Kami is also lost. The news goes to the press and Qasem, the thief, decides to mobilize his friend in order to find Kami. Meanwhile Farhad who has been trying to steal his father's will gets into physical fight with family's lawyer during which the lawyer is accidentally shot and killed. Ahmad, the policeman is put in charge of the homicide case. The three friends get together ironically after years as Farhad is arrested.





DAR EMTEDAD-E SHAB [IN THE COURSE OF THE NIGHT] (Parviz Sayad, 1977), 123 min., Googoosh

Story: Parvaneh, a famous movie star and a widow, is seeing a married man with a child. Meanwhile, a high school young man named Babak, who has blood cancer, is in love with Parvaneh and often sends letters to her. Finally, the two meet and spend sometimes together. When Parvaneh gets to know about Babak's cancer from his mother, she decides to take Babak with her to the West for treatment. In the airplane, Babak dies while his head is leaning on Parvaneh's shoulder.





GHEISAR [CEASER] (Masoud Kimiayi, 1969), 105 min., Behrooz Vosughi

Story: In revenging the murder of his brother, Farman, and the rape of his sister, Gheisar kills the Agh Mongol Brothers one after the other as he himself is killed by police.






SOLTAN-E GHALBHA [THE SULTAN  OF THE HEARTS] (Mohammad Ali Fardin, 1968), 135 min.

Story: A couple live separate for years each thinking the other one is dead. The man becomes a famous singer and the women loses her sight in an accident. Years later the man meets a little girl accidentally without knowing that she is his own daughter. He helped the girl to cure her mother. The man is planning to marry a rich woman but in his wedding night the girl and her mother show up and surprise each other to find the family alive. They live a new life together.
